Partie 6: Colombia: Florianopolis, 7 years after!

Imagine you have lived during one year in another country. Thanks to the rotary, you have had the chance to fly away, to learn about a new culture, new traditions. You have been lucky to meet new people, live with three differents families, discover a new city!

Imagine you are going back. Seven years later...

Martin has lived in Florianopolis during the year 2006-2007. Being in Brazil for almost 3 months, it would have been an error not to go down South to meet again his host families.

And there operates the magie of Rotary...

Eventhough, time pasts by fast and contacts are sometimes hard to keep, we have been welcomed as if nothing had changed. As if Martin was still living in Floripa.

It was so much fun to meet his brazilian mamas, brothers, the rotarians that looked after him. It was so much fun to discover the appartements he has lived in, the school he was going to, the beaches where he was surfing. He was a lucky boy. Besides the fact that he had three amazing host families, the city where he was sent looks a bit like paradise!

We would never say enough thank you to the rotary for giving us this opportunity.

Obrigada Miriam, Joao-Guilherme, Henrique, Anir para tudo. Que bom de encontrar voces! Vamos voltar em 7 anos com nossos bebezinhos (o antes na Belgica!!). Saudades!!!
